Carpe DiamThe first thing he wanted to do when he got back from saving the world was to take her to this small beach on Long Island. It was just outside the protection of camp, but just inside the range of the mist. It was only about half a mile wide, but it was hidden and unpopulated. There was no garbage, no people, no anything. For that night it was just the two of them.
There were a lot of similarities between Jason and Reyna, Leo noticed as he made a fire for the two of them once the sun had set. The way they carried themselves, the way they sat, the way they talked. It was all very different for the Greeks. It seemed kind of wondrous that Leo had gotten her to go out with him at all. He was a goofball and she was a Roman. (But who's to say Romans can't have a sense of humor?)
He sat down next to her on the towel, she pulled her hoodie closer to her body and moved, just slightly, closer to Leo.
"I'm glad you're back." She told him. he reached around her back and pulled her hair from it's br
Percy and Annabeth Proposal 1 Graduation Hats
I looked in the mirror and knew I looked stupid. Whose idea was it to make graduation hats flat and impossible to keep on? But none of that really mattered; I was more amazed by the fact that I was graduating. From college. Yeah, I got into college, and made it through the whole four years without getting kick out.
Most people still don't believe me when I tell them. But it's true. I'm graduating in about 2 hours from the State University of New York with a degree in marine biology. Bet you didn't see that coming did you?
College wasn't my first option, oh no. My first option as to become a horse whisperer and get a show on Animal Plaint but both my mother and girlfriend shot that one Hades.
My girlfriend is incredibly smart. She is graduating a week after me as the valedictorian for some small school in Boston. Harvard, maybe you heard of it?
She was my best friend and has saved my life countless times. I love her more than anyone, which is why I'm
Sk8er BoiHe was a boy
She was a girl
Can I make it anymore obvious?
He was a punk.
She did ballet.
What more can I say?
He wanted her.
Will looked at Drew, she was cute. Pretty, really, she was a daughter of Aphrodite. Will thought he had a good chance of getting her to go out with him. Will walked around camp looking for Drew, he was so distracted looking for her that he crashed into someone else. "Sorry," the girl said to him as the both bent down to grab her notebook. It had opened when they fell and Will saw a bunch of designs on graph paper. Must be Athena, he thought. Then he saw her hands were coved in bandages and motor oil; Probably Hephaestus, actually, he said changing his mind. "Thanks," She said taking the notebook back from him when the stood up again. She only looked him in the eyes once as she was leaving, glancing up for one second. She must be shy, Will thought, but she had pretty eyes. The fourteen year old Will shook the though of the other girl from his mind walked u

MessagesShe hated checking the messages on the machine. For the first few months she had hoped that the message would be someone tell her that they found Percy. Around April she stopped hoping. All she could do was wish that her son would come home. She couldn't even pray. Who would she pray to? The people the gods who took him away?
The red light telling her she had a message had been blinking in her home phone for days. She didn't want to listen to it ever. She wanted the cable company or the bank or the salesman to just sit there forever. They weren't bringing her son back.
Annabeth had told them that the ship was leaving and that they would find Percy where they were going. Sally didn't get her hopes up; that's what Annabeth said the last time.
Finally, after watching it blink for a week, Paul finally hit the button to play the message before they went to bed (with endless protesting from his wife.)
Sally listened to the message stone-faced. She didn't even blink. When it ended
Leo and Melisa Proposal 13Leo always liked parties, but family get together in someone's back yard what a bunch of screaming kids weren't his favorite. But there was one family get-together party he remembered enjoying.
Leo was walking up the driveway of Will's mothers house. He felt bad for getting hopelessly lost and arriving two hours late for the party, but even if he was really late, he wasn't going to miss the party. His sister, Nyssa, and her boyfriend Will were having a joined party for their graduations.
He walked into the back yard and went unnoticed. He looked around the backyard, looking for someone he knew, he finally spotted Nyssa standing by the pool with a boy who Leo thought was Will. When he got closer, though, he noticed the boy wasn't Will, just someone who looked a lot like him. There were two people in the pool, one swimming very fast, one trying to keep up.
When Nyssa saw Leo, she ran to him and gave him a hug, "Hi Leo," She said happily.
"Hey, you're happy," Leo pointed out.
A Unique Kind of BeautyA/N This is a continuation of Do You Want To Dance that I wrote half asleep. Read that first. Link below. I haven't proof read it yet so fair warning. Takes place after "Do you know we still have dishes to do"
Will pulled he gloves over his hands and followed Nyssa to the sink.
"How's the Argo going?" He asked.
"It's coming. The bunker is one of the most amazing places I've ever been, so I love having an excuses to spend all day in there."
"You're really talented, you know that?" Will asked.
"I guess, but how would you know?"
Will took the glove off his right hand and dropped it on the ground. Around his writs he wore a green bracelet that read "This Star Won't Go Out". He slipped the bracelet off his wrist and was suddenly holding his bow and quiver. "So that's where you Apollo kids keep your bows?" Nyssa asked in revelation.
"Well, the boys. The girls usually get some kind of hairpin. Our father gives them to us at the end of our first summer of camp. But back
Their First TimeMany children of Apollo have become famous, very famous, over the years; from Shakespeare, to Walt Whitman, to Kristin Chenoweth. But possibly the best known (and possibly most loved) were the Beatles. John, Paul, George, and Ringo, those four sons of Apollo all together created some of the most iconic music of all time.
The Beatles became more than important to the Apollo Cabin, they were worshiped. Many Apollo kids sat in Central Park on December 8th, they all sang their songs, and they all remembered the first time they heard a Beatles song.
The first time Lee ever heard one of their songs, he was four and in the car with his mother. His mother changed the radio station and found Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was on, but already half over. She let it play, anyway. Lee wasn't paying much attention to the music, instead he was playing on a Gameboy Color, but he soon paused the game to listen. He asked his mom what song it was and she told him. later that day, she gave him a copy of Ye
LeavingKatie sat in the strawberry field, holding her phone loosely in her hand. Everything felt numb. She wished her father could have told her about his diagnosis in person, but she was stuck at camp. At camp people always leave and never come back. And now, her father was going to be just another person that was going to leave.
She heard noisy, graceless footsteps getting closer to her. She knew who it was, there was no mistaking those footsteps. "I don't care which one you are, just get out of her, Stoll."
Travis came into view. "Katie," his voice wasn't mocking or teasing like it usually was, it was actually full of concern and maybe even a little compassion. "Are you okay?"
Katie knew from experience that if you were trying not to cry, that you should never speak, it will only make things worse. She was already fighting hard to hold back the tears, so she refused to speak to Travis. No way was she going to let him see her cry.
Travis asked if she was okay again. "I'm fine." she said fin
